Warming chai spices during the colder months are my jam! The traditional chai spices are cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, and clove. Typically, chai is made with black tea, but our Adaptogenic Golden Chai elixir contains green rooibos instead; a caffeine-free red tea. We did this so this elixir can be consumed any time of day. Our Adaptogenic Golden Chai contains all the traditional chai spices, with a few medicinal additions… • Turmeric root with black pepper to combat against inflammation • Ashwagandha root to support the nervous system and combat against anxiety and stress • Maca root to support vitality and energy • Licorice root to support GI health and soothe an upset stomach (also for natural sweetness) Try this delicious and nourishing Chocolate Chip Chai Cookie recipe by @sculptedkitchen

- 3/4 cup of coconut sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla powder
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 tablespoons of molasses
- 7 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- I tsp of Adaptogenic Golden Chai
- 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
Directions
* Preheat oven to 350F and prepare a baking tray. 1. Place all your wet ingredients in one bowl 2. Place your dry ingredients into the bowl and mix to combine 3. Add in your chocolate chips and mix. 4. Bake for 9 minutes, and let it cool for 20 minutes so it can continue cooking on the counter and set. Tip: when your cookie tray comes out of the fridge, gently tap the tray against the table/counter (one that is not apt to break of course) so it flattens out a little. Next tip: add some Maldon salt sprinkles to enhance the yummy sweet taste
