The birds that migrated south for the winter have returned! (At least some of them) 🐦🌼 I woke up to the sounds of them cheerfully chirping outside my bedroom window and it brought a big smile to my face. Spring is just a few weeks away and to celebrate, we have a new recipe for you to try. This one looks and tastes like the early signs of spring if you ask me. 🌸🪲🌞
This recipe magic was created by the lovely being behind @sculptedkitchen - Sarah, and is a stunning Smoothie Bowl. ✨ The brilliantly bright aqua blue comes from our Radiance potion swirled in with a touch of spirulina powder. This recipe is totally vegan and a nutrient dense way to start the day (or finish it off with tasty + healthy treat) 🧚🏼♂️🌿
Smoothie Bowl Recipe:
.:. Ingredients .:.
• 2-3 frozen bananas
• 1/2 cup of frozen pineapples
• 1/2 cup of frozen mangos
• 1 tsp of Radiance
• 1 tsp of blue spirulina
• 1/4 cup of almond milk
Toppings:
• Coconut flakes
• Frozen blueberries
• Frozen or fresh blackberries
• Granola
• Banana
.:. Method .:.
1. Dissolve Radiance elixir and spirulina powder in the almond milk. **Warming up the almond milk will help dissolve these more easily.
2. Add milk and the rest of the ingredients to a high speed blender. Let it sit for 5 minutes to soften.
3. If using a high speed blender, use tamper to push the mixture down until it is creamy. (after about 1-2 minutes)
4. If a tamper is not available, pause the blender until the blades stop moving, push the sides of the smoothie down into the centre and blend again. This process may have to be repeated 5-6 times until creamy.
5. Add toppings (banana slices, frozen blueberries, blackberries, granola, coconut flakes, etc.)
6. Enjoy right away ✨
